Yellow Speckled Ceramic Butter Dish Dish Handmade Pottery

Handmade butter dish with hand carved detail. The top cup holds 6 fl oz of butter, which is placed into the bottom dish with 1/4" of water in the bottom. The water seals the butter off from the air so it can stay warm and soft without going bad. The glaze is lead and cadmium free and food safe. Dishwasher and Microwave friendly. They are approximately 4 3/4" in diameter, and shape will vary some as well. Every one is unique! I make these by hand in my garage studio in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks.
